In an effort to protest being dismissed by the firm he worked for, a young man blocked a train from moving for 45 minutes by placing a red flag on its rails.
The Tenughat Thermal Power Station (TTPS) in Lalpania’s Bokaro district is the subject of the dispute.
Sources claim that Ranjit Kumar, a native of the hamlet of Tulbul, worked as an outsourced employee for a codec firm connected to TTPS.
Two months after being fired from his position, Kumar asked to be hired again by the authorities.
He wrote to the corporation on December 13 threatening to fast until he died if his demand was not honoured.
He placed a red flag on the track close to the railroad overpass on the Bokaro river on Wednesday.
As a result, the goods train that was headed back to the Dumri Bihar station was delayed for roughly 45 minutes.
Following the exchange of information with the TTPS administration and removal of the flag from the track, the train continued on its trip to its destination.
Coal is mostly transported in this railroad tracks.
