Pandian reviews progress of mega water supply project in Nayagarh

Bhubaneswar: 5T Secretary V K Pandian on the second day of his to Nayagarh district reviewed the ongoing mega piped water supply scheme on Thursday. The project being constructed at a cost of Rs.1,577 crore will be operationalised in phases starting from December 2023.

In Ranpur, he visited Tala Maninag Temple, Shri Jagannath Temple and Mahavir Temple in Daspalla. He also interacted with Sebayats, trustee members and public for holistic development of the temples along with better facility for the devotees and took suggestions on various aspects of transformation of the temples and its development. He directed the district administration to prepare a master plan for development of these temples.

Pandian visited Ranpur CHC to review the progress of the Ama Hospital and the new 30-bed hospital building where he interacted with the Doctors, staff, patients and attendants.

The 5T Secretary also visited Mission Shakti Cafe at Daspalla and interacted with Mission Shakti members on the functioning of the cafe and other livelihood activities.

Pandian reviewed the progress of AMA hospital and the new 100-bedded Hospital building in Nayagarh DHH, where he visited different wards, OPDs, MCH, Niramaya and interacted with Doctors, staff, patientsand attendants. In Machhipada, he interacted with Krishna Chhenapoda Producer Group Members and assured them of support of government for their expansion and marketing.

Pandian later interacted with the public in Ranpur, Daspalla, Bhapur and Khandapada on their grievances. He conveyed that the Chief Minister lays emphasis on grievance redressal as a priority for the administration. He assured them of early grievance redressal.

Special Secretary to CM R. Vineel Krishna, IG Asish Singh, Collector & DM Rabindra NathSahu, SP Rahul Jain and other district level officials accompanied him during the visit.
