Bhubaneswar: The proposed Pabitra Mohan Pradhan Medical College and Hospital (MCH) at Talcher in Angul district will be made operational soon.
It was decided during a review meeting chaired by Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena on Wednesday at Lok Seva Bhawan.
Named after the eminent freedom fighter and former Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha late Pabitra Mohan, the hospital will be made operational at the earliest in collaboration with Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL). The Chief Secretary has given necessary instructions and advised all concerned for necessary preparations and cooperation to make this hospital functional.
Commissioner-cum-Secretary of Health & Family Welfare Department Shalini Pandit, Angul Collector Siddharth Shankar Swain, CMD of MCL O.P. Singh, senior officers of H&FW department & MCL attended the meeting.
