Bhubaneswar: Team India’s star all-rounder Hardik Pandya had to bow out of the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 midway due to an ankle injury. Hardik picked up the injury during the match against Bangladesh while attempting to stop a ball in his follow-through. In the process, he sustained an ankle ligament tear which led to his withdrawal from the remainder of the mega event.

Despite being out of on-field action, Pandya made headlines for his off-the-field move. He left Gujarat Titans to rejoin his former team Mumbai Indians ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 auction.

Now, the star all-rounder has signaled his return after one week of the important announcement. Hardik has shared a video clip of his training sessions with the caption, ‘WIP’ (work in progress) on his Instagram account.

The video has reportedly gone viral within no time. It has so far garnered around 4 lakh likes.

Several fans have flooded the comment box with good wishes and amazing comments.

“I look forward to seeing you back in the field,” wrote a fan.

“Comeback MI PALTUN,” wrote another fan.

In response to Pandya’s post, a third user commented, “Waiting for your another comeback captain hardik pandiya.”
