Normal life disupted in Odisha due to dense fog: Temperature below 12 degree Celcius recorded in 10 places

Bhubaneswar: With cold wave conditions showing signs of abatement across Odisha, dense to very dense fog enveloped several parts of the state on Tuesday morning, disrupting normal life amid reduced visibility.Normal life was thrown out of gear in several parts of the state due to foggy conditions, which substantially reduced visibility level. Vehicular movement was disrupted in most parts of the state, sources said.

Koraput remained the coldest place in the state recording a minimum (night) temperature of 7.6 degree Celsius, followed by Daringbadi (9 degree), G Udaygiri (9.2 degree) and Phulbani (10 degree Celsius). At least 10 places recorded temperature below 12 degree Celsius in the last 24 hours during the period.

The MeT Centre has already issued yellow warning about dense fog in many parts of the state for three days.
