Bhubaneswar: An under-trial prisoner reportedly died following a cardiac arrest in Jharpada Special Jail of Bhubaneswar on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Sukanti Bhoi.
According to sources, She was lodged in Bhubaneswar Jharpada jail for a long time in connection with a dowry death case. Sjhe was unwell and undergoing treatment for the last few days.
The body has been sent to Capital Hospital for postmortem.
