Bhubaneswar<\/strong>: The Orissa High Court on Thursday ordered a CBI probe into erroneous marksheet issued to a candidate, who appeared for JEE (Main) 2022 Exam.<\/p>

While hearing a petition filed by one Anshuman Kanungo, the two-judge bench of HC directed the central probing agency to complete the investigation within four months and submit a report.<\/p>

The petitioner claimed that he had scored 98.97 per cent but later found some some discrepancies in the marksheet later and sent a mail to the authorities concerned for correction. However, the mark was subsequently changed to 37 per cent. He was also denied admission in any engineering college, including NIT-Rourkela, on the plea that the marksheet submitted by him was fake.<\/p>

Anshuman\u2019s lawyer, Akaya Kumar Panda, told the media that they argued that the marksheet was downloaded from the official website and it was later allegedly changed to accommodate another student from Uttar Pradesh.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
